Peggy and I decided to mix things up a little for our most recent ministry trip to Michigan; so we sent our clothes ahead, packed up the Harley and set out for a nice ride.
We arrived at our destination six short hours later without incedent, having really enjoyed our ride.It was on our way home however, that we encountered torrential rain, wind, and hail! We spent several hours chatting under the shelter of highway rest stops and squeezing the rain from our clothes!
You know, there was a time in my life when I would have let that situation frustrate and dissappoint me, but praise God for the work the Holy Spirit does in our hearts! He has taught me how to enjoy Him and His blessings (ie: my wonderful wife) and to make the most of every situation!
