So many things are buying for our time. The decisions we make each day about what we do with our time really tells us what is most important to us in life. There are times when I have to ask myself, “Is what I am doing at this moment really that important?”
Just today, I was felling like I should be doing more or getting more done as I sat in a chair holding two of my grandsons in my lap. Then I thought, “There will come a day when I will wish I could do this, but they will be grown!”
I often think back to the times when I didn’t “make time” for my three daughters because I was so busy working or doing something that just seemed more important. What regret! On the other hand, I never regret the times I pushed something “important” aside to be with them. I guess what I am saying is… Take time to enjoy the people God has placed in your life. Before you know it, today is gone!
