We’d like to introduce, our dear friend, Sandra Garcia. She has been ministering in Reghin Romania four years now. Sandy was an elementary school teacher before moving to Reghin to build an after-school ministry where she reaches gypsy children, helping them to stay in school. Four of her students will now enter high-school in the fall, something unheard of for gypsies in that region!
Sandy also directs a growing youth ministry and is doing a great job there in Romania! We love her and are proud of that work she is doing! You can learn more about Sandy and her ministry by visiting her website here.
We just returned from a great trip to Mexilcai, Mexico! Our leadship training sessions and church services were awesome. We also planned an outreach for October that will introduce a more personal form of evangelism to believers and the lost of Mexicali. Thank you, partners, for helping make the work of this ministry possible!
Ordinarily this blog is updated by my dad (pictured at left with his grandsons, Daniel, Joshua and Christopher). This month, though, I am “commandeering” it to share with you something I continuously learn from him. Continuously because it seems like certain lessons simply cannot be learned once. Some things you learn in layers. 
Today, while many are celebrating the inauguration of our new president there is another special event happening! Peggy turns 40 something today! I love my wife and believe this year she is experiencing her best yet.
