Our Story

In 1982 Tim and Peggy attended Calvary Bible Training School in Ft. Worth Texas. During their two years of bible college they served as children's pastors in Burleson, Texas. Tim began preaching in nursing homes, youth meetings and on the streets. After graduating, they moved back to their home sate of Colorado where they began to evangelize their community. Evangelism led to Bible studies and Bible studies led to a Church, one that Tim and Peggy pastored for three years. Knowing in their hearts they weren't pastors but evangelist, they merged their church and accepted a position as "staff evangelists" for the next two years. During that time Tim began to travel internationally, his first mission trip was to Guatemala in 1987 and by 1992 Tim had traveled to 23 countries! Tim's vision expanded! In the summer of 1992 Tim and Peggy loaded up their three little girls in their car and set out for two weeks of meetings in another state. Tim insisted that family and ministry belonged together and refused to ever leave his wife and daughters behind. Just a few short years later, Tim, Peggy and their daughters were traveling as much as 300 days a year in their "Bus of Faith"! For nearly a decade the Grisham’s all but lived in their bus. Peggy left behind the beautiful house she had believed God for in Texas (where they moved in 1994) and home schooled their daughters. Everywhere their family went people were not only equipped, but also inspired by a minister who was not willing to leave his family behind but include them in the ministry. In 2002 they moved their ministry to Indiana, and in 2004 started S.O.M.E. their School of Missions Evangelism. They continue to travel in the States and abroad ministering in churches and training believers through their S.O.M.E. training camps. Tim and Peggy have no plans to retire from ministry!
