What Does It Mean to Give to T.G.M.?

We believe that giving should never come from obligation, pressure, or manipulation. God's Word tells us in 2 Corinthians 9:7 that each person should give cheerfully, for "God loves a cheerful giver."
Giving is an act of worship and love. It is an investment in what is eternal. Every gift you give helps share the Gospel, make disciples, and equip believers to reach their communities with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The Bible also teaches that giving positions us to receive God's blessing. In Luke 6:38, Jesus said:
"Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be poured into your lap."
Just as a farmer plants seed expecting a harvest, every seed sown in faith produces a harvest. This principle applies not only to our finances, but also to our time, our kindness, our possessions, and the way we serve others. Whatever we sow, we will reap.
Your giving also changes lives. Scripture asks, "How can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent?" (Romans 10:14–15). Every gift helps send the Gospel where it is needed most. Because of your generosity, people hear the message of Jesus, encounter His presence, and have the opportunity to experience eternal life.
